• A coalition of environmentallyconscience students from many of the major colleges and universities in Georgia (including Georgia Tech, UGA, Agnes Scott, Emory, Georgia State, Morehouse, Valdosta State, among numerous others), are convening on the steps of the Georgia State Capitol to voice their concerns regarding climate change.
• Students will be briefed in a short course on lobbying, go to the press conference on the Capitol steps at 10am, and then partake in a "Lunch and Lobby" at 11am12pm. During the lunch, legislators will come into a "lunchroom area," where students will meet with their legislators and encourage them to implement state policies that will help address climate change. The lobbying will continue after lunch until 2pm.
