The Participant Coordinator is generally responsible for building a strong network of speakers and participants for your event’s panels, keynotes, and community action planning sessions. With the help of the organizing team, Participant Coordinators will bring key stakeholders and experts to the table to discuss this generation’s defining set of issues.

Making the Ask
Once you’ve set your goals, get on the phone and start attending public meetings and events. Give potential participants specifics but be flexible with their schedules. The key to bringing in speakers is to let them know that this is a great opportunity for them, their organization, and the community to get publicity as well as share valuable information.
 

Once They've Said Yes
