Clif Bar & Company is working to reduce their environmental impact in everything they do, from the field to the final product.

Focus the Nation is dedicated to building a movement from the bottom up to create a national dialogue on Global Warming solutions.

Together, we are collaborating on Project Slingshot so that now you have a chance to propel your ideas for Global Warming solutions forward.

Selection of Grant Recipients:

While we’re doing our part in this fight, we have some friends who are doing some pretty great things: Rocky Anderson, Billy Parish, Denis Hayes, Jeremy Jones, Eric Larsen and Judith Helfand (link to bios at bottom of page). They’ve kindly offered to help narrow down the submissions in their respective categories. Once they’ve narrowed the list to the strongest proposals meeting the application criteria in each application category, we’ll be bringing this back to you on April 1, 2008 –that’s right, all of you- to vote on the three projects you’d like to see become a reality. After all, one of our greatest civil rights is voting!

Three (3) Grant Recipients (1 in each Application Category) will be determined based on a public vote on Finalists’ proposals via www.focusthenation.org/mojosligshot.php between
April 1, 2008 and April 15, 2008.

The three (3) Grant Recipients will be announced on April 22, 2008.
