Carrying the Movement Forward

You’ve worked incredibly hard on your event and you want to continue the dialog between your community and its policy makers. That’s why it’s so important to follow up with Focus the Nation central on what you’ve accomplish.

Make sure that you:

• Contact everyone who organized, participated and attended to show them how much they accomplished and thank them
• Encourage them to attend a follow-up meeting and use pictures and videos to display your successes
• Plug them into Focus the Nation
• Plug them into the organizations working in the community
• Plug them into upcoming events, scholarships, and internships that local, state, and national organizations available
• Start planning concrete follow-up events
• Share your accomplishments with Focus the Nation central so that we can continue to support you.

Do everything you can to incorporate everyone you have met throughout this process. These are the relationship will build the movement for a clean and just energy future right there in your commmunity. Stay in touch with your Focus the Nation organizer for future events to bring to your community!
