Minna Brown

Minna joined the Focus the Nation team in 2007 as a national organizer. She received her B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology from Middlebury College where she helped found Middlebury's global warming-focused Sunday Night Group. Her passion for global warming activism has taken her from Middlebury, where she created the Flat Earth Award and wrote a senior thesis about global warming journalism, to Missoula, MT where she worked for globalwarmingsolution.org, organizing a the first national fast to stop global warming. Minna is fortunate to have this opportunity to work in her hometown of Portland, OR on this, the defining issue of her generation. When not typing frantically or on a conference call, Minna loves to cook, hike, throw snowballs, play frisbee and laugh over a good beer.
