Alex Tinker

A life-long Oregonian with a passion for social change flowing in his veins, Alex joined the first team of FTN national organizers in 2007 and helped launch FTN’s inaugural civic engagement campaign of 1,000 climate solutions teach-ins around the country. One year later he stepped into the role of civic engagement director, co-creating and managing FTN’s nationwide clean energy town hall campaign and securing event participation from more than 70 of members of the US Congress. Alex now serves as a Legislative Assistant to Oregon Representative Jefferson Smith and does free-lance political consulting.
